Overview
The 55VM5B-A 55″ Video Wall Display from LG displays 1920 x 1080 content with a 500 cd/m2 brightness. It features HDMI, DisplayPort, DVI-D, OPS, RGB and audio inputs, as well as USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports. Additionally, it features DisplayPort and audio outputs, along with RS-232C, RJ45 and IR control interfaces.
The unit features a 0.9mm even bezel, and a 1.8mm bezel-to-bezel measurement that makes it ideal for use in video walls. The built-in, quad-core SoC allows you to play various content formats and enables each display in a video array to play its video without lag. The webOS platform provides content-creation tools, and the LAN daisy chain allows you to execute commands for controlling and monitoring the screens, as well as updating the firmware. The Video Wall Image Creation (VIC) technology compensates for color and brightness differences, and maintains a consistent white balance across they video wall installation. The included guide bracket attaches to the display and ensures that it remains flat.
